Social Impact Fellows
Alton Forward engages Social Impact Fellows to create developmental opportunities for service-committed students and practitioners. This will result in actionable efforts to drive transformational change and increase the livability of the Alton community. These fellowships place trained interns and students within agencies to help build capacity and work collaboratively with other agencies to further goals and perspectives. These fellows help support and engage in various programs, such as food insecurity, housing affordability and development, economic and community development, health and well-being, and downtown revitalization. The fellowship program aspires to increase the capacity and impact of these allied organizations.
